The Episcopal Response to AIDS will be holding its annual World AIDS Day
Service at 6:30p.m. on Monday, December 1st, at St. Philip’s Church, 204
West 134th Street in Manhattan, as part of that parish’s historic 200th
anniversary celebration. The Reverend J. Barrington Bates will celebrate
and The Reverend Darryl F. James will preach. To submit names of the
departed and affected to be included in the Prayers of the People, people
should email firstname.lastname@example.org by November 24.
ERA will award its 2009 grants at the reception following the Eucharist,
which will also host a display of panels from the AIDS Quilt and an art
show featuring works by PLWAs.
